Code.

The Void. Emptiness, except for the dark rocks floating among it. Bits of architecture and objects are there too, some from the Outsider's world, some from the world of Mask or Menace, some from the worlds of those who visit. It draws on the mind. People you know may be there, frozen in an unmoving tableau. And then there are the whales, floating through the air. Not real whales, memories drawn from the Outsider as he expects them to be there. Water flows upward, and if you fall off the edge of a rock you will land on it from above. Your powers may work, but physics doesn't always work the way it should. It is a dream, and not a dream. It is the Void.
